Downloads

Download One-Click OpenSim as a Zip File (160 MB). Extract to an empty folder and run "Start.exe".

Source Code - https://github.com/Outworldz/DreamWorld

How to Start and how to log in

tl;dr version: It will prompt you to create a new avatar name and password. For the rest of the prompts, just press the Enter Key.

After you click Click Start.exe, you may get a pop up warning.  All my binary code is digitally signed by me and is cryptographically verified to protect you and to assure you that the code you get is what I authored.  It is virus-free, and has no ads.    It should say "Verified Publisher: Fred Beckhusen".

Click yes, and it should ask to install Onlook (say yes). After Onlook installs and is started, Onlook will close and the installation should be finished.

You do not have to use Onlook. However, Onlook automatically sets itself up with the correct grid info, and makes it very easy to get on the first time.

Then click [Start] in the top right of the menu. Opensim should launch, and after a minute or so, it will ask for the name for an estate. You can just press the Enter Key, but you can also give your estate a name if you want and press {enter}.

A new user information request will come up in the black box. You should pick an Avatar Name and a password. Email is optional.

Estate Dream World has no owner set.
Estate owner first name [Test]: (Enter your avatar First Name)
Estate owner last name [User]: (Enter your avatar Last Name)
Password: (Enter your avatar desired password)
Email: (optional)
User ID [38a702d3-0d55-4a9a-9ab6-1d91bc030e4c]: PRESS ENTER

All the other questions can be safely answered with just the ENTER key.

After a while the system will tell you that LOGINS ARE ENABLED.

The Onlook viewer will show up on your screen. Log in with the same First Name and Last Name and password you entered in the Opensim box. You should then appear in an empty sim.

What's New

Now with Free Dynamic DNS! DreamWorld now supports multiple regions and has better diagnostics which will help you get to the Hypergrid more easily. It has a new built-in ( and free! ) Dynamic DNS system so your friends can find you easily by name on the Outworldz.net domain. I've seeded it with over 25,000 cool names but you can also choose your own grid name at any time. Just click the Advanced panel and click the DNS Name.

The zip file should be extracted into a new folder, then click Start.exe. Answer a few questions to create your first avatar and it is ready to go. Switch between Bullet, ODE and UbODE physics engines with just a click.
